Renovation of a four-bedroom semi-detached 1930s house in Wandsworth

Pace worked closely with the client on the design, reconfiguration and refurbishment of this 1930s family home.

At the back of the house we created a stunning open-plan kitchen-dining space, installing a large Glazing Vision skylight, Maxlight sliding doors and polished concrete floors that extended into the garden. Upstairs we built a luxurious master suite with concealed joinery around the bed, and a double-level bathroom with a walk-in shower and contemporary freestanding bath.

Whilst updating and modernising the house, we maintained its period character by reusing original features and exposing previously-hidden brickwork.

As a result of our work, the house has been transformed into a sophisticated and practical family home with period character and a consistent visual aesthetic throughout.
